Austin Engineering Company Buys Sugar Land Structural Engineering Firm

Houston Business Journal- Austin-based Big Red Dog Engineering and Consulting continues to grow with the acquisition of MSP Engineering Group PLLC, a structural engineering firm based in Sugar Land. The six-person Sugar Land office will remain open and will be Big Red Dog's fifth office in Texas, according to a spokesman. The deal closed Nov. 15. "The MSP addition contributes great apartment-specific design expertise to our multifamily market sector," Big Red Dog CEO Will Schnier said in a statement.
