BNSF Railway To Spend $375 Million In Texas This Year

Houston Business Journal- BNSF Railway Co. will spend $375 million in Texas track maintenance and expansion this year, the company announced Feb. 15. Projects like resurfacing 1,400 miles of track and replacing 40 miles of rail and 450,000 ties will account for half of the capital spending. The rest will be spent on expansion projects, according to the Fort Worth-based railroad.
