Fort Bend County Mobility Bond Election To Be Called August. 9

Chron.com- Fort Bend County commissioners inched closer Tuesday to calling for a mobility bond election, which would fund dozens of new road projects if passed by voters. Commissioners agreed Tuesday to schedule a special meeting for 10 a.m. Aug. 9 to call officially for the election. State law mandates that elections be called between 78 and 90 days before the date of the election, County Judge Bob Hebert said. They intend the bond election to take place Nov. 7.
