Houston Region's Population Growth Decelerates
Houston Chronicle- Fewer people are moving to the Greater Houston region - that is what data estimates released by the U.S. Census Bureau on Thursday morning revealed. According to the data, the 13-county Houston region added more than 95,000 residents between July 2016 and July 2017, placing it just behind DFW. That is down from just a year ago when it added more than 135,530 residents.
Fort Bend's population increased, but at a slower rate than past years. Census estimates Fort Bend County's population at 764,828
