In the Houston Office Market, 'Aggressive Pessimism' Is Now 'Cautious Optimism'

Houston Business Journal- Rich Pancioli was quick to note that many of the positive stats coming out of Houston's office market shouldn't be overhyped - even the fact that last quarter, Houston saw positive absorption for the first time in 18 quarters."(It's) phenomenal," Pancioli said. "We look at it as baby steps."Pancioli, a senior vice president and office tenant rep at CBRE, was speaking at the firm's quarterly luncheon on Jan. 23. Speaking on what to expect from the city's office market in 2018, Pancioli said to expect very modest growth, flat rent rates and similar behavior seen in 2017.
